ASHLEY DELEON

Ashley DeLeon is a multi-hyphenate digital storyteller dedicated to creating meaningful media for children and families. She serves as an editor, assistant director on set, and on-camera talent for Ms. Rachel (YouTube & Netflix), where she helps teach preschool skills to millions of young viewers while fulfilling the show’s commitment to education equity behind the scenes. Ashley has also been selected to judge the 2026 Children's & Family Emmy Awards.
Her work spans editing key segments, guiding production on set, and infusing gamified learning experiences into programming, as well as facilitating licensing and clearances for international distribution. She is also developing an immersive audio-first storytelling series designed for preschool audiences, with a focus on creating interactive, activity-based experiences that center blind and visually impaired children. This project was selected for the 2025 Sundance Institute x Audible Storytelling Intensive.
With an additional background in journalism and regional news reporting, she brings a distinctive edge to storytelling—blending narrative depth, accuracy, and accessibility in media.
She graduated with a B.A. in Media Studies, Journalism & Digital Arts and received department honors, the Top Scholar Award in Media Studies, and the Donoghue Award for Community Media Leadership.
